Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Inovo Second Number app (published by innovage.io LLC) and what happens to your data when you do. Account deletion is available to every user, free of charge, and does not require contacting support.

Delete your account in the app

Open the Inovo Second Number app and sign in.
Go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out, your phone number(s) are released, and your account is closed. This action is irreversible.

If you can no longer access the app

Email us at secondnumber@innovage.io from the email address associated with your account (the Google or Apple account you signed in with) and request account deletion. We will verify the request and complete the deletion, confirming by reply within 45 days at the latest, typically much sooner.

What is deleted

Account information: your email address, display name, and sign-in association.
Phone numbers: any Inovo numbers assigned to you are released and can no longer be used to reach you.
Communications data: call history, SMS/MMS content and history, and voicemail.
App data: contacts created in the app, settings, remaining in-app credits, and notification tokens.

Deletion of the data above completes within 30 days of your request.

What may be kept, and for how long

Fraud prevention identifiers: your User ID and Device ID may be retained for a longer period solely to prevent fraud and enforce our acceptable use policies.
Transaction records: records of purchases we are required to keep for accounting, tax, and legal compliance are retained for the period required by applicable law.

Active subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription's auto-renewal; cancel it in your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Remaining credit balances are not refunded on deletion.
